0.3 Degree Control Precision
Keeping a reef tank's temperature steady is crucial to long-term success and the BRS Heater Controller lets you set the temperature anywhere between 58°F and 99.9°F and then will keep it within 0.3°F of the controllers set temperature. With a properly sized heater, your aquarium can keep the temperature swings down to a minimum, while ensuring a long life for your heater. As your aquarium heats up, the controller will allow the water temperature to go past the set temperature by 0.3°F, at which point the controller will turn your heaters off, and the temperature will start to fall. Once you aquarium's water temperature falls 0.3°F below the set temperature, the heaters will turn back on, heating your aquarium water.
Replaceable Temperature Probe
The tank's temperature is sensed through a replaceable probe that is 72" long and only takes a few seconds if it ever needs to be replaced. The low-cost probe is perfect for conditions like saltwater aquariums, where deposits and algae can grow on the probe that requires vigorous cleaning, and ultimately being the main failure point. If you ever notice the temperature starts to drift or not hold a calibration it is usually a good sign that the probe needs to be replaced.
Maximum Heater Size: 1,200 Watts @ 120VAC
The Bulk Reef Supply Aquarium Heater Controller can handle up to 10 amps of current which is equivalent to 1200 Watts with a supply voltage of 120 volts. The 1200 Watt maximum output can be split between the two outlets allowing you to plug two smaller heaters into each plug, or a single larger heater into just one of the plugs. We highly suggest using two smaller heaters, which has multiple advantages over a single larger heater.

Product Questions
In order to have a 2 degree offset between the controller and the heaters you will either need to have heaters with built in thermostats plugged into the controller or you will need to plug the BRS heater controller (with heating elements) into a device like the Neptune Apex that has its own thermostat capabilities.

I would hate to call shannigans but it seems like all you did was place a BRS label on it and increased the price.
We did change up the controller a little to allow it to stay more stable and it does not offer the ability to have one heater and one chiller, only 2 heaters.
Yes it can be used with that style heater. It will act as a backup in case the jager thermostat fails.
Unfortunately not, the settings are applied to both outlets or heaters.
