Speed up your Aquascaping Projects with Insta-Set Accelerator

  • Speeds Up Cyanoacrylate Glue Set Time
  • Reduces Waiting & Mess when Gluing
  • Simple Spray Application
  • Safe for Use in Freshwater or Saltwater Aquariums

Insta-Set Accelerator is a game-changer when working with cyanoacrylate glue in your freshwater aquarium. Whether you're attaching moss, gluing wood to stones, or building intricate layouts, waiting for glue to dry can be a pain. With Insta-Set, that wait is drastically reduced. Just spray a small amount on the glued area and you'll have a strong bond in seconds.

Unlike other accelerators with harsh chemical smells, Insta-Set features a pleasant strawberry scent that makes your aquascaping experience more enjoyable.

Instructions for Use:

Apply cyanoacrylate glue as usual to your rock or wood. Once the item is in position, spray a light mist of Insta-Set over the glue. If you are using it to glue live plants to hardscape, quickly submerge the piece in water to help manage the heat from the curing reaction.

Important Notes: Keep out of reach of children. Spraying Insta-Set on cyanoacrylate glue generates heat. Avoid contact with skin. Using gloves when working with Insta-set is recommended.

Product Questions

Can I spray underwater? I plan on using Caribsea liferock so I plan to scape and glue underwater to preserve beneficial bacteria.
Question by: Katie on Jan 28, 2023, 11:49 PM
No, this is not intended to be sprayed underwater.

What is the technique to use this spray on Accelerator? Assuming that you shouldn't get Accelerator on the coral frag itself, do you just put a drop of glue on your frag plug, spray the glue with accelerator in one hand and then quickly set the frag into place with your other hand?
Question by: Colin on Sep 3, 2022, 9:33 AM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Most will put the glue on and stick the frag on then spay with accelerator. As it can dry very quickly, spraying and then trying to stick the frag may not work.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!
