Gone are the days of manual water top-offs. Experience hassle-free water level management with the Tunze Osmolator 3155. This time tested system ensures that maintaining perfect water levels is a seamless experience. It integrates an optical sensor with a float switch, offering not only reliability, but also redundancy to protect against overfilling the aquarium.
The optical sensor acts as the primary water level sensor, while the float switch is the backup. If water triggers the float switch, power is cut to the pump and an audible and visual alarm is triggered. In addition, there is a built-in maximum run time of 10 minutes that can also cut the pump's power. This can not only help prevent an overflow, but can also protect the pump if the auto top off reservoir has run dry.
