NT Labs Optimus Water Conditioner is a concentrated aquarium water conditioner and dechlorinator that makes tap water safe for aquarium use. It removes chlorine, chloramine, and halogens while also detoxifying heavy metals commonly found in tap water.

Optimus also helps temporarily bind ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate into a safer form that can be processed by the aquarium’s biological filtration. This makes it useful during new aquarium setup, routine water changes, and short-term water quality issues.

Optimus can be used when starting a new aquarium, as a part of routine water changes, or any time new tap water is being added to the system. When being used in a new aquarium, consider using it alongside NT Labs Satus.

Directions

Shake well before use. Add 5 mL per 200 liters (approx. 50 gallons) of tap water. When used for water changes, add the appropriate dose to the new water before adding it to the aquarium.

Dosing Tips:

• A half dose should be used when water temperature is above 30°C (86°F) and chlorine and ammonia levels are low.
• The normal dose can be doubled for water containing exceptionally high chloramine levels.
• Optimus can be used up to 5 times the normal dosage to detoxify nitrite in an emergency.

Note: A slight sulfur odor is normal and does not affect product performance. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
