Three Built-In Infrared Sensors
- Low Level: Activates the pump if water drops below this point, until the next sensor is reached.
- Fill Level: Located 1" above the low-level sensor; it deactivates the fill pump upon detection.
- High Level: Positioned 1" above the fill level and 2" above the low-level sensor; serves as an emergency backup, shutting off the pump when water is detected.
Note: Given that this ATO system allows the water level to fluctuate approximately by 1 inch, we recommend using it in all-in-one style aquariums or aquariums with a sump.

Fill Level: 1" above the low-level sensor, this sensor turns the fill pump off when it detects water.
High Level: 1" above the fill level, and 2" above the low-level sensor, this sensor deactivates the pump when it senses water.
