Micranthemum sp. ‘Montecarlo’, also known as new large pearl grass, grows flat on the ground, forming a compact mat. The roundish leaves are a bit smaller and darker green than those of Micranthemum umbrosum. The plant can grow in light shadow, but requires good light conditions.
