In one of the questions, you indicate that this will not work for the H380, though it is listed in the description as compatible, and also in the H380 questions you indicate this product to hang it. Is it compatible, or is it not?
Question by: Rick on Nov 27, 2017, 10:09 AM
The H380 is compatible with the A-series goosenecks. The A-series goosenecks are compatible with any 300 series light.

Im wondering if this material is safe to go into the tank, ive watched soke YouTube videos reviews abut the light with this gooseneck and most people have a part of the clamp part in the water. I imagine its aquarium safe, but i just want to make sure.
Question by: Dylan Wilkinson on Nov 5, 2016, 9:55 PM
Hey there, the clamp on this product is safe for the water. :-)

Is this just the fixture? No lightbulb?
Question by: Jennifer Hoffman on Nov 3, 2016, 2:40 PM
Great question! The light is sold separately. :-)

Is the gooseneck fairly stiff? I have an outdoor tank in which I've built a small box to cover the kessil, weight is aprox. 2lbs. Will this cause the gooseneck to sag?
Question by: Zach on Apr 11, 2016, 4:30 PM
Great question!
The Gooseneck is quite stable when mounted and this can hold several pounds. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

will these fit over a 1" black trim on a standard 55 gal aquarium?
Question by: Nate on Aug 13, 2014, 2:06 PM
Hi Nate,
The total opening of the clamp is 1 1/4" wide and the spacer block is 1/2" thick. The block can be slid in after the clamp assembly is over the trim so you shouldn't have any trouble using these on your tank.
I hope this helps!

What is the total length of the gooseneck?
Question by: Ryan on Jun 16, 2014, 5:57 AM
The length of the flexible part of the gooseneck is about 24" if laid out straight. From there you can bend it to your liking.

Hello:
I know you said these will work on the "lip" of a tank. I have 3/4" euro bracing with a small lip. I am wondering if this will still work?
Thanks,
MFR

Question by: Michael on Feb 3, 2014, 10:17 AM
Hi Michael,
The bracket on the goose neck will open up to about 1.25" at its widest. Its hard to say without seeing your tank but it sounds like that would work.

This light suspension system looks great. Is it bendable? I have a 54gallon corner reef tank I'm building and it's difficult to find a light to adequately illuminate the tank. That being said, I'd need it to be flexible so I can position it in the optimal location.
Question by: Joseph on Jan 20, 2014, 1:04 PM
HI Joseph,
The gooseneck bends quiet easily and is a great option if your looking for a flexible way to hang your Kessil.

Will it work on tanks with a lip?
Question by: Steve on Nov 27, 2013, 5:52 PM
Hey Steve,
It sure will. The bracket is large enough to accommodate the lip on your typical tank.
