Compact and Powerful Side Flow Media Reactor!

Not all media reactors are built the same and Lifegards Turbo Media Reactors are perfect for biopellets, but can also be used for carbon and GFO too. The Turbo name comes from the unique spinning action that is made with the flow. The flow keeps biopellets from clumping while providing maximum contact time with the media as the water produces a vortex-like stream. The vortex style stream causes excessive agitation of the bio-pellets and other media. Each reactor comes with diffusion plates and foam pads for use with carbon and GFO.

Lifegard Turbo Reactors can be set up quicker than almost any other reactor on the market. Just put in the proper amount of media for your aquarium and then place it directly into your sump and plug it in! The side flow reactors can be placed almost anywhere in the sump with their space-saving footprint. They are able to save enormous amounts of space by placing the Quiet One Pro pump directly under the reactor body that not only saves space, allows for efficient energy-saving flow.

Can a bag of chemipure be used in one of these or does the carbon have to be loose?
Question by: Jennifer on Jul 24, 2022, 2:07 PM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. You can use chemipure in this reactor. It does not have to be loose media.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!

Would this fit in a chamber of a Nuvo 20 gallon?
Question by: Dalton McGowan on Jan 20, 2020, 12:28 AM
Hey there!

Unfortunately it would not fit, the tank has slightly smaller dimensions than the reactor.
