Hi Jeff,
The Neptune Temp probe is not compatible with ReefKeeper controllers. You will need to get the temp probe designed for the ReefKeeper Lite.

The manufacturer lists this pump at about 10 lbs but with water in it it will weight a little more.

There should be a rubber end on the bottom of the. this does not need to be removed and the probe can be placed directly into the aquarium! Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

To add a second temp probe you would need a probe module. The PM2 would work as well as the PM1.

Will the probe work for air temperature as well, or does it need to be submerged? (i.e. could I use it for terrarium temp. regulation)

Hi Evan,
The probe will work but likely wouldn't be the best choice for air. Water conducts heat much better then air so the probes for water have more mass to keep the reading from fluctuating wildly. Air doesn't conduct heat very well so temperature sensors intended for air tend to have very low mass, that way there is less material that needs to be heated for the sensor to recognize it. The bigger/heavier the probe the slower it will respond and less accurate it will be for air.
