Yes you can, this canister is the standard 2.5" x 10" that will fit all of the other standard media.

We do not sell a bracket that allows for mounting four canisters yet, but what we do here to accomplish this is mount them close together side by side, which still gives a good aesthetic appeal. I have your 4 stage plus system. I was thinking of adding this as a 2nd DI since my single di only made about 100 gallons of di before changing colors completely. Will this help? And will I have to change anything with the TDS Meter if I get second canister?

Hey there! An additional DI canister will help you go longer between DI changes, but at the same consumption rate. Although you still see the single canister exhaust after about 100gallons, with a secondary cartridge you should be able to go through 200gal until both are exhausted. :-)

I recently purchased the refill for this canister, and I'm having trouble getting it open to empty/refill it...is there a trick to it, or is it just REALLY sealed on there?

Hi every one is telling me i should run a dual di. Set up my ? Is what will i benafit from adding another di. To my system if im allready at 0ppm tds no one has been able to tell me. Thanks in advance for the advice

Hi Nathan,
Running a dual DI will not make your water any cleaner as a single DI will bring it down to 0 TDS. What the second DI chamber does is allow you to get a bit more out of your DI resin.
For example, if you have 5 tds going into your DI resin you should have 0 coming out. When that goes up to 1, its time to change your DI resin out even though technically its not fully exhausted (its still removing 4 of the 5 TDS). A dual DI allows you to fully exhaust that resin and the second DI filters out the 1-5 TDS that gets through. That way your still putting 0 TDS in the tank while fully exhausting your first cartridge.

A DI resin filter would be the last filter in the set, so after the membrane the last stop before your water goes to your storage container.

Hi Matt,
Perfectly normal and the way it should be. DI canisters work on an upflow principle compared to the radial flow of the other filters so the air is just a bubble that can't escape, nothing to worry about!
