Thank you for reaching out to us! The Phosban 150 reactor needs a pump with a max flow of 250 GPH. With the small amount of head pressure, the Sicce 1.0 would be perfect.

should i use a 3/8" vinyl hose or 1/2" vinyl hose? or something else entirely?

Hi Justin, I would use 1/2 Braided nylon tubing with the fitting that comes with the pump. I have attached a link to the tubing.

Would the Bulk Reef Supply WHITE SOFT SILICONE TUBING (SOLD BY THE FOOT) 1/2" fit over the outlet on this pump?

I can not seem to figure out how to attach this SICCE Syncra silent 1.0 pump to 1/2" PVC pipe. what am I missing or doing wrong? let me know thanks

Great question! The output of that pump is 1/2" female NPT threading, so all you need to adapt to 1/2" PVC is the 1?2" Schedule 80 Male Pipe Adapter. I've included a link below! :-)
