I would like to use this pump for a waterfall feature in my garden. Can I use the pump constantly ? Or do we need to turn it off ?

Hi Nadia, great question!
This would make a great pond pump due to its high flow and multiple installation options. My only concern would be that the 6ft power cord might not be long enough for your application.

Hey there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us in regards to flow rate adjusting on this pump. This adjustment is done by moving a small clip that blocks the intake. I personally would not use this but instead install a ball valve above the pump in order to change the flow. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can assist with. Thanks!

I working on putting together a 125 gal saltwater tank with 2 drilled over flows with a 40 gal to 50 gal refugium sump. My question is if plumb both return lines together, will one pump do the trick? Or is is better to get 2 separate pumps to run 2 separate return lines?

Hi Billy,
It is very common for a single return pump to feed two or more return lines. We usually prefer a single pump (less things to go wrong) and always keep a second pump as a back-up just in case something happens to the first one. Just keep in mind that water always will follow the path of least resistance, and if you have a short path to one return and a longer one to the other, you may get more flow out of the closer one to the return pump. A couple Cepex ball valves will help you control the flow between the return jets.
