The Reefer DC protein skimmers feature a combination of self-leveling tech, high performance Sicce PSK DC controllable pumps, and the properly sized venturi, bubble diffuser, and skimmer body for optimal waste removal from saltwater aquariums. With three models to choose from, Red Sea has the perfect skimmer for aquariums ranging in size from 80 to 740 gallons. Best of all, Reefer DC Skimmers connect directly to the Red Sea ReefBeat app for even more control.

Self-Leveling Technology

Never have a skimmer overflow again. When the sensor that monitors foam wetness and waste level is triggered, the Self-Leveling feature is activated. The intensity of the pump is immediately reduced to prevent over-skim, and then slowly adjusted until stable skimming is restored. This means that instead of turning off like most skimmers with a basic float switch system, your Reefer DC Skimmer will continue to oxygenate the water, while still preventing a messy overflow situation. 

Powered by the Sicce PSK DC-1200

At the heart of every great skimmer is a great pump. All Red Sea Reefer DC Skimmers utilize the time-tested and reliable Sicce PSK DC-1200. This means Reefer DC Skimmer owners will experience a quiet skimmer, low power consumption, controllable flow rates, and smart functionality.

In addition to all the features you'd expect from a high-quality skimmer from Red Sea, the Reefer DC models also connect to the ReefBeat app to give you control and monitoring of your skimmer's status. If you have other ReefBeat connected gear on your aquarium, you can easily automate routines and set quick actions, so your equipment works together in perfect harmony.

Each controller can support two ReefRun pumps, meaning that you can operate your Reefer DC skimmer PLUS have an open port for a future pump (skimmer or return) without purchasing a second controller. A big cost savings if you're planning to run two of these pumps.
