Reef Jerky consists of freshly freeze-dried marine plankton of various species, as well as a tri-blend of macroalgaes for maximum nutritional profile full of protein, fatty acids, antioxidants, and color-enhancing carotenoids. This food blend is especially appealing to small mouthed planktivores such as anthias, wrasses, cardinalfish, as well as corals. Many of these small mouthed fish have evolved to be continuous feeders, so it is recommended to pair Reef Jerky with the Avast Marine Plank Automatic Feeder to supply multiple small meals throughout the day.

How to Use

Rehydrate Reef Jerky by mixing one spoonful into a small cup of RO/DI water. Pour into an area of high water flow.

For best results, use with the Avast Marine Plank Automatic Feeding System for ideal rehydration and broadcast feeding multiple times a day.

Keep dry in a dark container and refrigerate after opening for maximum freshness.
