Do you need to clean the blocks and how if so?
How often would you replace them? I have a 60 gallon and a 25 gallon tank.

Sounds like one block is good for my 60 gallon. What do you suggest?

Hi there, thanks for the question! You can clean them about every 6 months. You will want to rinse it with clean salt water to get any debris off and place it back in. And one block should be alright with a 60 gallon, but you can always add another if need be!
