Can this foam mat be used inside the aquarium to prevent the bottom glass from scratching and help alleviate some of the weight of the substrate and larger rocks?

Hi there, thanks for the question. This is not rated to be used inside of tanks, however I would recommend cutting some egg crate down to size, it would serve the same purpose.
