Add deionization stages to your current RO system or upgrade your RO/DI system. The HM Digital DM-1 Dual TDS Meter lets you see the quality of water you are producing at multiple points throughout the DI Stages.
All of our RO and DI systems use 1/4" push connect tubing and high-quality Mur-Lok fittings allowing them to be compatible with any BRS RO/DI system and most others on the market today. We only use nuclear grade deionization resin allowing you to create higher quality water with less resin.

The application you describe should work just like our Drinking Water and Reef system. The only thing I would add would be a check valve after the T going to the drinking water tank to prevent that water from being sent through your DI resin when you open that line.
