This Add-On Faucet Kit is necessary to set up your reverse osmosis unit to supply drinking water on demand.
The BRS Add-On Faucet Kit includes everything needed to bypass the DI (deionization) stage and add a pressurized tank and faucet to your reverse osmosis system. The pressurized tank insures that 3.2 gallons of water will be available on tap for immediate drinking water. RO/DI unit sold separately.
Kit includes:
- 3.2 gallon pressurized tank
- RO tank valve
- Silver faucet
- Faucet adaptor
- Tee for between faucet and pressurized tank
- Ball valve for turning on and off DI water
- Check valve for insuring that water in the pressurized tank doesn't flush through the DI resin
- Tee for bypassing the DI stage.

Product Questions
Does the tank need to have a certain amount of water ran through it before you use it to hold water? Like to rinse it, or can it be used as is right out the box?

The tank can be used right out of the box, but rinsing it won't hurt!
If you do wish to rinse the tank prior to use I suggest allowing it to fill with RO water, turning off the source water to the RO unit, then opening the faucet to let the tank drain completely. After this is done once, you can turn the RO unit back on to have on-demand filtered water.

Hey there, thank you for the question! You will want to bypass the DI resin for drinking water purposes. It is not recommended to drink DI water.

Hi I had bought a tank a bit back and I am just wondering what amount of air pressure should be in the tank ?? because the water seems to be coming out slower then it usually is I feel. Thanks
