I have an innovative marine 40ext, the outlet nozzle is bigger, is there a way I can downsize and make these more with it?

Nuvo aquariums come with adapters from 1/2" up to 3/4" allowing them to work with other aquarium systems so it can be reduced to 1/2".

I have a drilled 40gal breeder that is drilled in the back with a bulkhead for the return. Can this fit into a 3/4" bulkhead with a slip connection, or does it need anything else?

Hey there,
Due to the soft/pliable nature of the adapter pieces, these will slip over the output of a variety of pump types, but unfortunately they won't work as a slip connection with a bulkhead slip fitting. Generally at the very least you would need to have a loc-line output attached or something of this type for the adapter to slip over.

Great question! The cannot be attached to loc-line. They are proprietary to Innovative Marine tanks and do not have the same connections as loc-line. :-)
