Why Use an RO System?

Tap water may contain chlorine and heavy metals which could be harmful to your aquarium inhabitants. Adding water conditioning chemicals can reduce the negative impact of these unwanted contaminants, however a considerably safer solution is to remove them completely with this 3-Stage Reverse Osmosis System.

Using this system will make your tap water safe and pristine, ideal for your fresh* or saltwater aquarium. Prevent algae outbreaks and significantly reduce the risk of fish and invertebrate loss. This system ensures the water you are using for your aquarium is crystal clear while contributing to the health of your aquatic ecosystem.

*For freshwater aquariums, water may need to be remineralized after filtering

The AquaReady RO System utilizes a three-stage approach to filtering your tap water.

Stage 1

1-micron sediment filter

Stage 2

5-micron carbon filter

Stage 3

75 GPD RO membrane

Removes physical particles such as dirt, sand, silt, and rust. The sediment filter helps protect the other filters in the system. Removes chlorine and other potentially harmful contaminants. The RO membrane is the core component of the system. It helps remove dissolved contaminants, including heavy metals.
