The kits include everything you will need to replenish calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium in your reef tank, everything from the additives, mixing jugs, dispensing pumps, and a funnel to keep things clean!

Mixing Instructions:

Using a digital scale to measure the dry additives by weight is always going to be the most accurate form of measurement. A traditional kitchen scale and a small mixing jug to hold the additive of choice will work great.

BRS Calcium Liquid Solution - Fill a 1-gallon mixing jug 4/5 full of RO/DI or distilled water and then add the entire contents of 1 container into the mixing jug. Secure the cap on the mixing jug and shake it for about 10 seconds to help start the dissolving process. Remove the cap and fill the mixing jug the rest of the way with RO/DI or distilled water. Give the mixing jug a few more shakes and then let it sit until all the salts have dissolved before use.

BRS Soda Ash Liquid Alkalinity - Fill a 1-gallon mixing jug 4/5 full of RO/DI or distilled water and then add the entire contents of 1 container into the mixing jug. Secure the cap on the mixing jug and shake it for about 10 seconds to help start the dissolving process. Remove the cap and fill the mixing jug the rest of the way with RO/DI or distilled water. Give the mixing jug a few more shakes and then let it sit until all the salts have fully dissolved before use.

BRS Magnesium Mix Solution - Fill a 1-gallon mixing jug 1/2 full of RO/DI or distilled water and then add 5 1/4 cups (933 grams) of BRS Magnesium Chloride and 2 cups (332 grams) of BRS Magnesium Sulfate into the mixing jug. Secure the cap on the mixing jug and shake it for about 10 seconds to help start the dissolving process. Remove the cap and fill the mixing jug the rest of the way with RO/DI or distilled water. Give the mixing jug a few more shakes and then let it sit until all the salts have fully dissolved before use.
