Most aquarists spend hours and hours designing an aquascape, planting plants, curating their fish selection, and carefully maintaining their aquariums. The reality is, a faulty heater can destroy all of that hard work in a matter of hours if the right protections aren't put into place. Because heater issues are one of the most common reasons for tank catastrophes, we made the Bulk Reef Supply Titanium Heating Elements a reality.

Titanium heaters are virtually unbreakable, fully submersible, and transfer heat to the water much more efficiently vs their glass counterparts. When paired with the InkBird ITC-306a WiFi Heater Controller, you're left with a smart and reliable heating system that can tell you when something in your tank isn't quite right. If the temperature of your aquarium ever gets too high or too low, the InkBird controller can send you a notification, allowing you time to fix the issue before any precious fish, plants, or invertebrates are at risk.

This system features redundant controls like dual temperature probes to verify the correct temperature reading of the water and dual power relays for reliable operation. The outlet dongle has two outlets, which allows you to add a second heating element to the WiFi Controller down the road, if necessary.

Hi, if the product fails within the warranty date, do i contact you or the manufacturer? or are you the manufacturer?
Question by: Michael Brameyer on Aug 13, 2022, 9:20 AM
Thanks for the question! You would reach out to us within the warranty date on this. If the issue is with the heater we will get you taken care of and if the issue is the controller we will work with you and InkBird for warranty support. Let us know if you have any other questions!

The heater manual indicates when mounting vertically to be sure the water line is above the marked minimum water line level, but makes no mention what that minimum is. For the smallest 100w heater, what would the minimum be when used vertically?

If unable to place in a sump, is there a guard/sleeve product available to protect snails and serpent stars from getting fried if using directly in the tank space?
Question by: Steve Simons on Apr 6, 2022, 11:32 AM
    Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. There should be a line right about Bulk Reef Supply on the heater. That is the minimum water level. There is not a sleeve or guard for the heater.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!

Can this heater be attached horizontally? I have a shallow tank, so it won't fit vertically. But I could attach it horizontally at the bottom of my tank under my filter intake which seems like the perfect spot if the heater can function that way.
Question by: Shane on Nov 6, 2021, 12:36 AM
Yes, the heater can be run horizontally.
