Know Your Flow!

1/4" Flow Sensor for the Fluid Metering Module from Neptune.

The FS-25 will work with flow rates from 3-12 gph, and will connect to any standard 1/4" push connect tubing.

Usually used with a return pump, this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe or tubing. The FS-25 comes with 1/4" push connect tubing that will work with any standard style 1/4" RO/DI tubing.

Adapting soft 1/4" tubing can be done easily with a 1/4" stem x 1/4" barb adapter.

What's Included?

1x 1/4" Flow Sensor with push connect fittings

Product Questions

How far away from the FMM can the sensor be installed? My RODI setup (where I want to use this meter) is 40-50 feet away from the FMM unit.
Question by: John on Aug 2, 2024, 1:16 PM
Neptune Systems suggests that it is easier to move the FMM module closer to the sensor and use a longer cable from the controller to the module. You can use https://www.usbfirewire.com/apex.html for a Neptune Systems approved extension cable.

Will this work with an apex a3 jr without additional modules?
Question by: Chris on Oct 22, 2022, 1:56 PM
No, this will require a FMM.

Would this sensor work with Apex dosing pump set to water exchange mode(higher flows)?
Question by: Marek Domanski on Jun 7, 2017, 6:32 PM
The flow sensor is capable of taking readings down to 3gph. The DOS system has a max output of about 4gph, so at maximum output this will register with the meter. With that said, the DOS does have its own calibration and once set should be very consistent and it may be redundant to have a flow meter installed.

Have a great day!
