High-density nutrition for all small fish & inverts!

Bulk Reef Supply's Pellet Diet was specifically formulated to provide a protein rich diet with excellent nutritional qualities for a variety of fish and inverts. Pellets are sized around 1 mm, making them an excellent choice for small fish, and their high protein and fat content make them a great food for rearing younger fish as well. These carefully formulated pellets are uniformly sized and nutritionally balanced, and we've found them to work well for a variety of fishes. The pellets are neutrally buoyant, making them super easy for fry and other small fish to locate and grab out of the water column without having to travel to the surface or hunt around the bottom of the tank.

Product Questions

About how many pellets a day would you recommend for cycling a new 10g tank? How many pellets for a clown fish?
Question by: GTH on Nov 2, 2022, 8:23 PM
Hi! For cycling I would add Dr Tim's SKU 211450 instead out adding pellets. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out by email or by giving us a call.

Thanks for the questions! I would not recommend a pellet for cycling, as they can pollute a tank quickly if over done. Instead I would recommend Ammonia like Dr. Tim's Ammonium Chloride for cycling. Then for a clownfish, you'll want to add 3-4 per fish at a time then repeat 2-3 times if they keep eating (a total of 6-12 pellets each) a couple times per day. Please let us know if we can help with anything else!

Does this food contain gluten? Things like wheat as binder or nutrient. Looking for gluten free as I have celiacs and worry about contamination.

Thanks

Thanks for the question! We list the ingredients on the product page in the description as Fish protein, vegetable protein, lecethin, fish gelatin. I don't believe this includes any gluten, but we highly recommend washing your hands after working in the tank regardless of what is in the food, especially before consuming any food.
